HOUSTON -- Genesis Energy, L.P. (AMEX:GEL) announced today that Grant E. Sims, CEO, will make a scheduled presentation at the 7th Annual Wachovia Capital Markets LLC Pipeline & MLP Symposium beginning at 1:25 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, in New York City.

Beginning December 9, a copy of the slide presentation and a link to the audio webcast will be available on the Partnership's website at www.genesisenergylp.com under Investor Relations - Partnership Presentations. The audio webcast will be available for 90 days.

Genesis Energy, L.P. is a diversified midstream energy master limited partnership headquartered in Houston, Texas. Genesis engages in four business segments.
