Mushroom Compost is made from agricultural materials, such as wheat straw bedded horse manure, hay, poultry manure, cottonseed meal 1. A meal made from hulled cotton seeds after the oil has been expressed. , cocoa shells, sphagnum sphagnum (sfăg`nəm) or peat moss, any species of the large and widely distributed genus Sphagnum, economically the most valuable moss.  peat and gypsum gypsum (jĭp`səm), mineral composed of calcium sulfate (calcium, sulfur, and oxygen) with two molecules of water, CaSO4·2H2O. It is the most common sulfate mineral, occurring in many places in a variety of forms. , providing a consistent, formulated & homogeneous product. After mushrooms are harvested, the Mushroom Compost is pasteurized pas·teur·ize

As a fertilizer and soil amendment for farming, turf management and home gardening, Mushroom Compost supports plant growth in a variety of plant applications such as: corn yields, broccoli and cabbage yields, tomato yields and turf applications.
