Woodard leads Mid-Am, Tennant seven back

Each golfer will play another stroke-play round today before the field of 264 is trimmed to the low 64 scorers, who will advance to match-play competition on the Bandon Dunes course.

Wagner's two goals spark Lane women's soccer

Emily Wagner scored twice and Kori Wilgus once Saturday as Lane Community College defeated Clark 3-1 in NWAACC NWAACC Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges  women's soccer.

Wagner scored her first goal at 13 minutes. Wilgus made it 2-0 at 28 minutes and Wagner added her final goal at 67 minutes.

Amanda Krumdieck had three saves in goal for Lane, 6-3 in league.

ASHLAND - Mercedes LeClaire had 16 digs Saturday as Northwest Christian College Northwest Christian College is a private, liberal arts college located in Eugene, Oregon and is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ.  lost to Southern Oregon 30-18, 30-16, 30-25 in Cascade Collegiate Conference volleyball.

Southern Oregon improved to 13-4 overall and 7-1 in league while the Beacons slipped to 7-8 and 2-6.

Evergreen State shuts out Beacon men in soccer

SPRINGFIELD - Eduardo Millan scored two goals Saturday as Evergreen State defeated Northwest Christian College 5-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference men's soccer.

Evergreen State is 3-6-1 overall and 2-4-1 in league. Northwest Christian is 1-9 and 1-6.
