Delta II is a space launch system originally designed and built by McDonnell Douglas, then later built by Integrated Defense Systems division of Boeing.

 programs. The contract consists of a base year and three one year option periods. If funding is approved and all option years are exercised, the contract ceiling will be approximately $3.8 million.

Delta II rockets can be configured into two- or three-stage vehicles to accommodate a variety of mission requirements. Delta IV is the most advanced family of rockets being developed by The Boeing Company in partnership with the U.S. Air Force.

GP will support the programs by providing technical support services, assessing the Mechanical Integrity of ground support systems, developing a long term in-service inspection program, conducting maintenance and operations activities improvements and designing modifications to a variety of facilities and launch pad systems. These services will assist The Boeing Company at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station The Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) is the East Coast space launch facility of the United States Department of Defense. Located on Cape Canaveral in the State of Florida, it depends on Patrick Air Force Base, home of the 45th Space Wing. CCAFS is adjacent to the John F.  in Florida and Vandenberg Air Force Base Vandenberg Air Force Base, U.S. military installation, 3,456 acres (1,399 hectares), SW Calif., near Lompoc; chief Pacific coast launch site for military satellites.  in California. GP's services span multiple services areas offered by the company, from engineering design and assessment, to process improvement, to training and conducts.
