General Physics Corporation is a member of IEM Team Awarded U.S. Army MANSCEN Task Order; Team to conduct Homeland Defense Training at 20 Installations.

ELKRIDGE, Md. -- Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE:GPX), is a member of IEM, Inc.'s team conducting homeland defense training at 20 Army installations. This award is part of an IDIQ contract to help ensure that the Maneuver Support Center (MANSCEN) at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. continues to supply the U.S. Army with combat-ready soldiers who are highly trained in chemical, engineer and military police operations.

The IEM team, led by GP, will develop and deliver up to 12,400 hours of performance-oriented Installation Support Team New Organization Training. The contract's actual value will depend upon the cumulative value of task orders to be awarded by the Army. The IEM Team will develop training support packages and instructional materials as well as provide instruction in HAZMAT-Awareness, HAZMAT-Operations, HAZMAT-Technician, Incident Command, and Site Entry and Survey. Instructors will oversee end of course Site Training Exercises and Incident Command Tabletop Exercises. Team IEM is one of four contractors eligible to provide support services for MANSCEN.
