SkillRight's initial focus is on the represented workforce of the automotive industry The automotive industry is the industry involved in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, and sale of motor vehicles. In 2006, more than 69 million motor vehicles, including cars and commercial vehicles were produced worldwide. , providing training analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation services to automotive manufacturers, their distribution and service sectors and Tier 1 suppliers of parts and equipment.

SkillRight's personnel, represented by UAW-TOP, have extensive plant floor experience, and expertise in instructional technology There are two types of instructional technology: those with a systems approach, and those focusing on sensory technologies.
