General Physics Corporation Approved as Primary Training Provider for State of Louisiana Incumbent Worker Training Program.

ELKRIDGE, Md. -- Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE:GPX), has been approved by the State of Louisiana as a primary training provider for its Incumbent Worker Training Program (IWTP). The IWTP is a partnership between the Louisiana Department of Labor, business and industry, and training providers designed to benefit business and industry by assisting in the skill development of existing employees.

In order to be recognized as a primary training provider, GP's Baton Rouge, LA office had to demonstrate a history of providing successful training programs through its placement, retention and satisfaction rates, collaboration with a targeted industry in the development of training program curriculum, and the use of a current industry standard as the basis for utilizing specific industry training programs. GP will work with the employers who avail themselves of this program to develop a customized training plan for employees. Upon approval of the training plan and subsequent contract, GP will deliver the customized training.
