General Dynamics General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD) is a defense conglomerate formed by mergers and divestitures, and as of 2006 it is the sixth largest defense contractor in the world[1]. The company has changed markedly in the post-Cold War era of defense consolidation.  Corp., Needham, Mass., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a base year total of $18,340,000 and an estimated cumulative total of $98,000,000 if all options are exercised. This long-term life cycle support contract supports the total telephone switch system. Vehicle diagnostics enables a mechanic to diagnose the exact mechanical condition of the vehicle and its systems and components. Remote Diagnostics enables to perform such diagnosis without requiring the vehicle to physically be present for checkup.
