GeneThera Announces Preliminary Agreement with Mexican University for Collaborative Work on Johne's Disease and Vaccination.

:GTHA) announces that it has progressed with negotiations with a leading Mexican University to develop a test and vaccine for Johne's Disease.

Johne's is a huge problem in Mexico and the resultant loss in cattle production hurts the Mexican economy to a large degree. Our goal is to work with UNAM and their research scientists to come up with a nationwide testing and vaccination program that will eventually eradicate Johne's Disease in Mexico."

Dr. Chaves Gris, Director of the Department of Animal Pathology at UNAM and head of the Johne's program in Mexico said, "We are very happy that GeneThera was introduced to us and are optimistic that they and our people can come up with a fast and accurate test for Johne's Disease and an eventual vaccine for this big problem."

The parties are finalizing the details of the Agreement and will put out a subsequent release when executed.
