Colorado State University Colorado State University, at Fort Collins; land-grant with state and federal support; chartered 1870, opened 1879 as an agricultural college, assumed present name in 1957. There is a veterinary teaching hospital, an agricultural campus, and a research campus.  blocked transgender lesbian activist Leslie Feinberg as the keynote speaker for the Colorado Feminist Alliance's April 21 Take Back the Night rally. When Feinberg would not sign, the university would not budge. To join Feinberg in the struggle against the campaign to block progressive speech and organizing, contact tgwarrior@earthlink.net.
