GenCorp achieves special EPA status.

Polymers supplier GenCorp Specialty Polymers, Fairlawn, OH, recently received a special designation at its Mogadore, OH facilities by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA). The OEPA designed the plant a "minor source of hazardous air pollution' and issued it a "Synthetic Minor' air permit, which confirms that GenCorp has voluntarily agreed to meet rigorous emissions criteria of less than 2.3 pounds per hour of any EPA-listed hazardous air pollutants (HAP) and less than 25 tons per year of all HAP's.
