, majoring in secondary education Leadership roles: President of the gay-straight alliance PRIDE Upstate; active member of the teaching fellows advisory board focusing on diversity initiatives in the field of education; student leader for Project Safe Zones, ensuring safe and welcoming on-campus environments for LGBT LGBT Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender  students, faculty, and staff Accomplishments: Helped reestablish the PRIDE club with 55 members; member of Sigma Alpha Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority that promotes scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship among its members.
