Geac Announces $1 Million Agreement With Etam; Leading French Garment Distributor Selects QuestPDM to Strengthen Pre-production Processes Across Europe.

Geac(R) Computer Corporation Limited (TSX:GAC), a global provider of business critical software and systems solutions, today announced that Etam Development has invested EUR 672,000 (approximately C$1,045,000) in its RunTime product data management application - QuestPDM(TM). Under the terms of the September 2002 agreement Etam, the second largest distributor of women's apparel in France, will deploy RunTime's QuestPDM software to several hundred users based in multiple countries across Europe including France, UK and Belgium.

QuestPDM will allow Etam to build a view of how garments will be manufactured, allowing simulation of designs, costs and margins, and recording specification for areas including sizing, labelling and packaging. Phase one of the implementation is expected to be fully operational by March 2003, optimizing Etam's product design and development processes for the introduction of new garments to its collections, and integrating these processes with its manufacturing plants.
