Gay middle-earthlings? (reader forum).

You'll have to wait until the next installment of Rings to see Eowyn, daughter of King Theoden of Rohan, who, because women aren't allowed to fight, goes into battle as a male. There's a special significance to her role, but I won't give it away. She's also the only woman in the whole trilogy A company founded in 1979 by Gene Amdahl to commercialize wafer scale integration and build supercomputers. It raised a quarter of a billion dollars, the largest startup funding in history, but could not create its 2.5" superchip.  who goes off to battle. Unless, of course, you count Sam.

Trying to make everything on the planet have a hidden gay message is kinda Adv. 1. kinda - to some (great or small) extent; "it was rather cold"; "the party was rather nice"; "the knife is rather dull"; "I rather regret that I cannot attend"; "He's rather good at playing the cello"; "he is kind of shy"
kind of, sort of, rather
 sad. Be gay and be happy, but don't be so silly.
