The series will include a live cast of 7 children along with former NASA astronauts Charles "Pete" Conrad Jr., the third man to walk on the moon during the Apollo 12 NASA mission, and Richard "Dick" Gordon Jr. of Gemini 11 and Apollo 12. New state of the art computer animation will also be used to introduce two new space aliens, "Cygy" and "Zendo" from the planet "Kara." Cygy and Zendo, while in space, are exploring the inside of the NASA shuttle "Discovery" and get trapped in the cargo bay as the doors are closing. They are brought back to Earth as stowaways Stowaways are a Portuguese band from Matosinhos, who formed in 2001. They are made up of Nuno Sousa (vocals and guitar); Pedro Gonçalves (guitar); João Carujo, (drums)and Sérgio Seabra (bass). Fred on keyboards and João Covita on the accordion are more recent additions. in the space shuttle, which lands at Edwards Air Force Base Edwards Air Force Base, U.S. military installation, 301,000 acres (121,805 hectares), S Calif., NE of Lancaster; est. 1933. It is one of the largest air force bases in the United States and has the world's longest runway. . In 1995 the new heroes for children will be "Cygy and his sidekick Zendo." These educational-entertainment video tapes are designed to help teach and educate children about the United States NASA space program as well as crime, health, etc., here on Earth in a fun, entertaining manner.
