In Altadena, California Altadena is an unincorporated census-designated place in Los Angeles County, California approx. 14 miles from the downtown Los Angeles Civic Center. The sequel to the delightful SUMMER OF THE BIG BACHI, GASA-GASA GIRL is a terrific who-done-it starring a wonderful protagonist who brings to life the first generation Japanese-American subculture subculture /sub·cul·ture/ (sub´kul-chur) a culture of bacteria derived from another culture.
