Gas update.

Gas Update: Los Angeles-area gas prices continued inching away from the record levels of two months ago, dipping nearly 4 cents a gallon the week ended June 6, according to the Energy Information Administration. The average gallon of self-serve regular in the Los Angeles area was $2.377, down from $2.414 the previous week. Statewide gas prices dipped nearly 3 cents per gallon, averaging $2.360 per gallon, but they are still about 4 cents higher than one year ago.
