Gary Nelson, president of Advanced Financial Solutions in Oklahoma City, received the first Southwestern Christian University Entrepreneur of the Year award. The award is presented to a leader who "gets extraordinary things accomplished in an organization and does so by keenly striking a balance between business effort and community humanitarian service," said university president Bob Ely.
