Garst Seed Company, Des Moines, hires Dennis Penland for the newly created position of specialty products manager. He will be responsible for the marketing of the company's specialty corn products, as well as market development for specialty grains. From 1994 to 2001, Penland worked as specialty corn origination manager at Cerestar USA Inc.
