The Syngenta seed supply and product development organizations associated with its Slater, IA, and Waterloo, NE, sites will continue expansion of its new corn hybrids and Agrisure traits. Garst, Golden Harvest and NK will continue to have their own sales teams and brand names. David Witherspoon assumes leadership of the expanding Syngenta Renewable Fuels business. Pedro Rugeroni now heads Garst. Rob Robinson assumes a senior role in supporting the transformation of the commercial business. Kevin Kimm now heads Golden Harvest. David Elser continues as head of NK. As part of the transformation, Syngenta is creating a new Bus Development group, headed by Ioana Tudor, which will develop initiatives for long-term growth, including acquisitions, licensing of new technologies, next-generation biofuels and new feed products. It also announces several new marketing and communications appointments including: Ryan Klaveano is appointed Head of Brand Mktg. Lorenzo Bassi becomes Head of Strategy and Analytics. Chuck Lee is Head of Corn Product Line Management. Gene Kassmeyer is Head of Prod Line Mgmt for Soybeans and Misc Field Crops. Pam Molitor, previously Dir of PR and Comms for the Iowa Soybean Assoc, joins as Strategic Projects Comms Mgr. Lori Thomas is named Brand Advertising and Comms Mgr. Jill Wenzel, previously with the AdCulture Group, joins the company as Comms Mgr for Agrisure Corn Traits. Linda Leydens, previously with the Integer Group, is hired as Sr Comms Specialist. |
