Garofalo's a lethal lesbian on Sopranos.
When the online site Mr. Showbiz recently reported that Janeane
Garofalo and Sandra Bernhard smooch in a future episode of HBO's
The Sopranos, rumors swirled that; the funny girls might play gay in
recurring roles. But it seems kissing was the last thing on the
costars' minds.
"The only thing we did was try to kill each other,"
Garofalo revealed to The Buzz about the single scene she shares with
Bernhard, in which the pair ham it up as straight actresses playing
lesbian nemeses in a movie within the show. "It was really
fun," Garofalo gushed. "We had supposedly just shot each
other, so we spent our day covered in fake blood. Then we had the
opportunity to shower in our dressing mom at the SoHo Grand, so I got to
see Sandra naked, which was nice."
