Gardiner & Theobald Inc. awarded Asprey's contract.

 office of international construction consultancy Gardiner & Theobald Inc. has been awarded the contract for the expansion of Asprey's New York flagship store, comprising 27,000 SF on four floors at Trump Tower Trump Tower
Trump Tower is the name used for several skyscrapers owned and operated by real estate magnate Donald Trump. Each of these skyscrapers is predominantly composed of residential condominiums and found in major cities.
, 57th Street and Fifth Avenue, to be designed, by Lord Norman Foster, announces Andrew Mann, principal of Gardiner & Theobald's New York office.

Asprey is the British luxury lifestyle House. The store features an eclectic range of products that include jewelry, watches, silver, leather goods,. men's and women's fashion and accessories books, and lifestyle gifts.

Heading the project for Gardiner & Theobald is Jonathan Andrew, director. Andrew is in charge of the New York office's retail practice. The unusual space, which spans the basement to the third floor of Trump Tower, is in the shape of an inverted pyramid For the structure in the Louvre in Paris, France, see .

The design will mirror the decor in Asprey's new London New London, city (1990 pop. 24,540), New London co., SE Conn., on the Thames River near its mouth on Long Island Sound; laid out 1646 by John Winthrop, inc. 1784.  store, currently under refurbishment.

Integral to Gardiner & Theobald's coordination of the project is a construction schedule that begins before the end of the year; and carefully phased for minimal disruption to Asprey patrons. Completion date is being planned for fall 2003, to coincide with the holiday season that year and to follow the opening of the London flagship store.
