Garbage-fueled power plants?


Taylor Biomass Energy says it is interested in entering the energy market, reports El Caribe (July 14, 2006). It has identified 10 points where garbage-fueled plants could be installed with US$300 million annual savings in fuel imports and generation of 20% of present installed capacity. The DR-based rep is Angel Lockward, a former minister of Industry and Commerce. Company President James Taylor said each plant would have the capacity to supply 100,000 households.
