Gant expands, Pizza Lucca shutters, etc.

Gant has leased another 2,450 square feet on Fifth Avenue. Mishka will open this Friday at 350 Broadway. Long Island City's Waterfront Crabhouse restaurant is rebuilding slowly after a fire in early February. The opening of Famous Dave's BBQ BBQ barbecue  on 47th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues has been delayed, and the restaurant is now hoping to open in two weeks. Baoguette may become the next tenant of the East Village space recently vacated by Bamn. The former Cafe Pierre in the Hotel Pierre is slated to open as Le Caprice New York in September.  recently signed a lease for 200 square feet at 189 Columbus Avenue, between West 68th and West 69th streets. Holistic learning center New York Open Center has signed a lease for 15,300 square feet at 22 East 30th Street between Fifth and Madison avenues. Rosario's Pizzeria on the Lower East Side has reopened.

Meanwhile, several restaurants and retailers have recently closed. Pizza Lucca, on the northwest corner of Hudson and Charles, has closed. R&L Restaurant, at 69 Gansevoort Street, has closed.
