(GLI GLI Glider GLI Greater Louisville Inc. (Metro Chamber of Commerce in Louisville, KY) GLI Global Imager GLI Great Lakes Invitational (college hockey tournament) GLI Great Lakes Water Quality Initiative ) for its GAMBIT (language) Gambit - A variant of Scheme R3.99 supporting the future construct of Multilisp by Marc Feeley <feeley@iro.umontreal.ca>. Implementation includes optimising compilers for Macintosh (with Toolbox and built-in editor) and Motorola 680x0 Unix systems and HP300, BBN on-line slot accounting system, Star Slots. GLI also gave Phase I approval for two other GAMBIT components -- Star Marketing and Star Vision -- along with the Crystal Web Hardware for slot machines from GRIPS, GSI's sister company based on Graz, Austria. All three Star modules offer multi-platform, highly flexible software solutions designed to optimize optimize - optimisation casino operations. Star Slots is the GAMBIT module for slot accounting, Star Marketing is the GAMBIT module for Player Tracking, while Star Vision is an on-line analysis module that provides a variety of reports along with 3D visualization Using the computer to convert data into picture form. The most basic visualization is that of turning transaction data and summary information into charts and graphs. Visualization is used in computer-aided design (CAD) to render screen images into 3D models that can be viewed from all of the slot floor.
