GameSpy will also help manage back-end services for online games from Atari that use GameSpy solutions, providing server, bandwidth and reporting support. The financial terms of the agreement between the two companies were not disclosed.

"We believe that incorporating GameSpy technology will give our customers superior online gameplay," said Michael Gilmartin, director of publishing support services, Atari, Inc.
