Looking into the Past

One of my favorite My Favorite is an independent synthpop band from Long Island, New York. They released two CDs: Love at Absolute Zero and Happiest Days of Our Lives. My Favorite broke up on September 14, 2005, when singer Andrea Vaughn left the band.  museum sites on the Internet is the University of Michigan Museum of Art The University of Michigan Museum of Art, or UMMA, as it is known locally, resides in the Alumni Memorial Hall of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Even though I'm not crazy about Picasso, the "Picasso and Portraiture" web site is so well put together that I keep going back, liking him more and more. Clean design, great color, small accessible images, and concise text make this site fun to use and an excellent resource for students and anyone wanting to learn more about Picasso.

The Future of the New Art World

Internet web sites are changing dramatically everyday. As new technologies develop, the Internet becomes more complex and fascinating. Museums will soon incorporate into their web sites the new visual and audio technologies that make content on the web so compelling today. Artists will be able to view a museum's entire collection, listen to audio descriptions of important pieces, and interact with animations. As you can see, some museums are already doing just that. Although nothing will take the place of actually visiting a museum, the pleasure of experiencing a Leonardo da Vinci Leonardo da Vinci (də vĭn`chē, Ital. lāōnär`dō dä vēn`chē), 1452–1519, Italian painter, sculptor, architect, musician, engineer, and scientist, b. near Vinci, a hill village in Tuscany.  painting at the Uffizi Gallery is irreplaceable we have a powerful new art world to explore.
