The second annual event, held in Lynchburg, Tenn., featured top outdoorsmen Outdoorsmen are men who enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping out in the woods. To qualify for competition, guides were required to have a minimum of five years of fully licensed hunting and/or fishing guide work. As owner of Delta Dreams Kennel & Outfitters, it's not surprising that Marcin said his favorite competition was the game calling where he truly showed his talent in the duck and turkey call; however, the elk call was a little less familiar being a Tennessee local where elk are sparse. "There was a great group of competitors this year, so it's an honor to be taking home the trophy," said Marcin. "I am definitely going to start practicing my archery and fly casting as soon as I get home so I can be sure to come back next year to defend the title." Marcin added that he knew where his $4,000 prize money was going to be spent - a new "mud buddy" motor for his boat. "We were thrilled to have these talented guides from across the country down to Lynchburg to demonstrate their expertise and knowledge of the outdoors," said John Hayes, Vice President and Brand Director for Jack Daniel's.
