Ltd.  Development Corporation, a subsidiary of The Rockefeller Group, announced they have closed on the acquisition of the former ExxonMobil campus in Florham Park, New Jersey Florham Park is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 8,857.

Rock-GW, the joint venture between Gale Real Estate Services Company and Rockefeller Group Development Corporation, intends to develop the 493-acre site into one of New Jersey's premier master-planned, integrated mixed-use developments Mixed-use development refers to the practice of allowing more than one type of use in a building or set of buildings. In planning zone terms, this can mean some combination of residential, commercial, industrial, office, institutional, or other land uses. .

The venture is in the final planning stages for a world-class development, which will include the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 Jets' new headquarters and training facility, approximately 600,000 s/f of office space, an age-restricted residential community and a 250-room hotel. Additionally, 60% of the site will remain as dedicated open space.

    "The acquisition of a property this large in such a mature market as eastern Morris County is a rare opportunity for all of the participants in this venture to plan a new development that truly sets a new benchmark for public-private planning, smart growth and mixed-use development at its best."

    Formerly the location of an Exxon research facility, the 493-acre site is bordered by Route 24 to the north and Park Avenue to the south.
