Galbreath relocates in Midtown

A major real estate firm has relocated in midtown Manhattan.

The Galbreath Co., Inc., which develops real estate and provides services to the industry, has committed to 16,776 square feet, the entire 38th floor, at 437 Madison Avenue. The firm was previously located at 150 East 42nd Street.

The Galbreath organization will use the space, which it sublet from Dow Lohnes & Albertson, a Washington, D.C.-based law firm, as its New York headquarters. Dow Lohnes & Albertson was represented by Franklin Speyer, senior director, Jon Serko, director, Richard Kennedy, associate director, and John Peters of Cushman & Wakefield.

437 Madison Avenue (between 49th and 50th Streets) is owned by 437 Madison Avenue Fee Associates, whose principal is Robert Kaufman.

Galbreath was represented by Barry Lewen a senior managing director, of the firm.
