Galbreath gets exclusive agency for former Studio 54 building

The Galbreath Company has been appointed exclusive leasing agent for 254 West 54th Street, the entertainment industry hub that once housed the legendary Studio 54 nightclub and now houses The Ritz concert hall and dance club. Peter Ricker, president, made the announcement.

    , managing director, will direct the leasing campaign for the 120,000-square-foot, 17-story building between Broadway and Eighth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, which features both office and studio space.

    Studio 54 brought the building instant stardom in the late 1970's, and 254 West 54th has remained a magnet for the entertainment industry. In addition to The Ritz, the building houses Sound Works, Inc., a recording label whose clients include artists Stevie Wonder Stevie Wonder (born Stevland Hardaway Judkins on May 13, 1950, name later changed to Stevland Hardaway Morris),[1] is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer.  and Duran Duran Duran Duran are an English pop group notable for a long series of popular singles and vivid music videos. They were the most commercially successful of the New Romantic bands and a leading band in the MTV-driven "Second British Invasion" of the United States. .
