Galamba also announced that it has installed a double-magnet downstream separation system for its 2,500 hp auto shredder in Kansas City. The company calls the installation "one of few like it in the region" and will result in larger volumes of recovered metals for the firm to sell to its foundry and steel mill customers. In a news release, Galamba says it "expects a substantial improvement in production of shredded steel as a result of the installation, which was completed in mid-September."
