Gadsby Hannah's John B. Miller Elected to American College of Construction Lawyers.

Gadsby Hannah LLP, a leading business and construction law firm, today announces that Dr. John B. Miller has been elected to the prestigious American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL). Founded in 1990, ACCL is a national organization of outstanding lawyers who have demonstrated skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice or in the teaching of construction law, and who are dedicated to excellence in the specialized practice of construction law.

A founding member of the firm's national construction and government contracts practices, Dr. Miller has more than twenty-five years of experience in civil engineering, business and law. Concentrating his practice in counseling construction industry clients on project creation, Dr. Miller brings this rich experience to Gadsby Hannah's Construction Group with a new industry focus upon Infrastructure Contracting and Public Private Partnerships.

Dr. Miller's election to the ACCL is a testament to his commitment to both the practice of construction law and the development of new strategies for the delivery and maintenance of public and private infrastructure facilities. Before returning to Gadsby Hannah in May 2005, Dr. Miller was a professor of construction management at MIT, focused on competitive delivery of water, wastewater, road and energy projects. Dr. Miller is active in numerous professional and industry organizations, including ARTBA, IBTTA, ABA, ASCE and AGC. He is the author of two textbooks on delivery strategies for public and private infrastructure facilities, and over fifty articles in peer reviewed journals and trade publications on the infrastructure procurement process. Dr. Miller also served as a Reporter on the ABA's 2000 Model Procurement Code for State and Local Governments. The Code provides a statutory road map for the competitive use of alternative delivery methods, including Public Private Partnerships (PPP's), in rebuilding the nation's schools, roads, water and sewer infrastructure.
