QXCOM's Help Desk/Management Software

Today, GWI Software, the leading supplier of help desk and customer support software for the Lotus Notes Messaging and groupware software from IBM Lotus that was introduced in 1989 for OS/2 and later expanded to Windows, Mac, Unix, NetWare, AS/400 and S/390. Notes provides e-mail, document sharing, workflow, group discussions and calendaring and scheduling.  and Domino environments, announced that they have formed a strategic partnership with QXCOM, Inc., a leader in administration tools for the Lotus Notes environment. Through this alliance, GWI Software will assume the direction and responsibility for the development and technical support of QXCOM's Help Desk/Management product.

Over the next few months, GWI Software will focus on transitioning customers from QXCOM's Help Desk/Management software to GWI's Help! suite of applications. Help! will offer QXCOM customers several additional help desk features such as web-based self-help options, pre-populated knowledge bases, stronger links to sales force automation Automating the sales activities within an organization. A comprehensive SFA package provides such functions as contact management, note and information sharing, quick proposal and presentation generation, product configurators, calendars and to-do lists.  packages, as well as enhanced escalation and routing capabilities. These new features will assist customers in increasing the useability of existing help desk operations. In addition, GWI will work with QXCOM to include QXCOM's QX/Tools administration and management utilities in future releases of GWI's Help! product.
