 Williams of Connecticut announced that it has completed negotiations on behalf of Hawley Lane Shoes for a 23,000 s/f store at 898 Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton, Connecticut Shelton is a city in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. History
Origins
The town was split off from Stratford in 1789, as Huntington (named for Samuel Huntington).

The store is slated to be one of the largest independently-owned shoe stores in the country, carrying more than 200 top brands for men, women and children.

Hugh Kelly (1739 - February 3, 1777) was an Irish dramatist and poet.

Son of a Dublin publican, he was born at Killarney, County Kerry. He was apprenticed to a staymaker, and in 1760 went to London.
