GVA completes 100,000 s/f in deals at 28 W44th.GVA Williams announced the completion of transactions at 28 West 44th Street totaling nearly 100,000 square feet. The twenty-two story, 352,000 square foot building boasts modern renovations with a pre-war ambiance within walking distance of Times Square, Grand Central Station, the Theater District and Bryant Park. Alex Jinishian, executive managing director, Harry Blair, managing director, and Sean Kearns, associate, at GVA Williams represent the building's ownership, Transwestern Investments Co. LLC. Recently completed transactions include: City University of New York (CUNY CUNY - City University of New York)--56,208 sq. ft.: CUNY, one of New York's accredited city universities, has renewed their existing lease of 56,208 square feet on floors 17, 18, 19 and part of the 10th and 3rd. CUNY represented itself in the transaction. Crew Cuts Film & Tape, Inc.--28,000 sq. ft.: Crew Cuts, an editing house for commercials, short and independent films, has renewed their lease of 25,000 square feet on the 20th and 22nd floors. They also took an additional 3,000 square feet on the 20th floor. Crew Cuts was represented by Lyon Fisher. Princeton Club of New York--5,800 sq. ft.: The Princeton Club, the exclusive alumni association, has expanded their current lease of 1,000 square feet on the 2nd floor to take an additional 4,800 s/f The additional space is located adjacent to the building's current space. As a result, a bridge-like overpass will be constructed to attach the two buildings. The Princeton Club was represented by Colliers International. Bauman, Katz and Grill--7,100 sq. ft.: The law firm of Bauman, Katz & Grill has expanded from 2,800 s/f to 7,100 square feet on the 9th floor. Bauman, Katz & Grill represented itself in the transaction. |
