 Williams announced that CoStar has named Brian Given, Steve Jaray and Hal Stein as "Top Brokers of 2003".

All three were involved in 2003's largest new lease transaction in Manhattan--HIP's 555,000 s/f least at 55 Water Street.

In 2003, GVA Williams' rice chairman, Brian Given, and managing director, Steve Jaray, each completed leasing transactions totaling approximately 1.5 million square feet.

In addition to the HIP transaction, the team represented Thomson Financial Thomson Financial

 in leasing 380,000 s/f at 22 Thomson Place in Boston. Given and Jaray also represented Thomson Learning in leasing 85,000 square feet in Belmont, California Belmont is a city in San Mateo County, California, United States. It is a small suburb in the San Francisco Bay Area, located half-way down the San Francisco Peninsula between San Mateo and San Carlos. The population was 25,123 at the 2000 census. .

Director Hal Stein, who also was part of the GVA Williams HIP team, completed nearly 1 million square feet of leasing transactions in 2003.

In addition to the HIP transaction, Stein, along with Bob Tunis of GVA Williams, completed New York City's largest not-for-profit lease deal at 199 Water Street for The Legal Aid Society.
