GVA Williams announced that it has named Lesley Lisser as a senior asset manager of the firm's Asset Management Services Group. Lisser will provide additional depth to GVA Williams' property management, project management and financial reporting services operations. Among other duties, Lisser is responsible for asset management at the Argonaut Building, 224 West 57th Street. A 99-year leasehold of the building was recently acquired by an international partnership led and controlled by Monaco-based M1 Real Estate, with Joseph Safdieh of SAFKA Holdings LLC and several GVA Williams executives. Lisser has more than 20 years of real estate experience. Since 1994, she has held asset management positions at Brookfield Asset Management, Wafra Investment Advisory Group and Emmes Asset Management. During this time, Lisser was responsible for managing nearly 14 million square feet in commercial and residential assets with total capitalization of more than $2 billion. Earlier in her career, Lisser worked for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in its corporate real estate group. Lisser also worked at two New York City-based architectural design firms, managing rehabilitation, renovation and office rehabilitation projects.
