GVA Williams Partners close $5.5m in deals.

During the first half of 2004, partners of GVA Worldwide demonstrated regional leadership throughout the United States by closing dozens of high-profile, market-making leasing and investment transactions.

Based on a tally of the three top deals closed by each of 10 of OVA Worldwide's American partners, volume for the 30 transactions totaled 5.5 million s/f.

In key locations nationwide, GVA Worldwide partners concluded transactions that underscored the firms' prominence on the regional scene.

Among the first half's most prominent projects were: CIGNA's leasing of a 457,444 s/f transaction in Philadelphia through the partnership of GVA Smith Mack in Philadelphia and GVA Williams in New York; Colonnade Properties' $82 million joint venture capitalization of a 547,000 s/f office park in Coral Gables, Fla. through the partnership of GVA Williams in New York and GVA Arthur Rubinstein in Frankfurt;

Thomson Financial's leasing of 386,000 s/f in Boston through the partnership of GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens in Boston and GVA Williams in New York;

The $11.2 million sale of a 465,656 s/f office development site in Westlake Village, Ca. by GVA DAUM;

On an office-by-office basis, 30 of the largest GVA Worldwide transactions of the first half of 2004 included:

GVA Williams (New York) represented the owner in the leasing of 280,000 s/f at 28-40 W. 23rd St. in New York by Ecko Ltd.; represented Holtzbrinck Publishers Holding LLC in the leasing of 157,500 s/f at Fifth Avenue's Flatiron Building in New York; represented Colonnade Properties in the $82 million joint venture capitalization of the 547,000 s/f Douglas Entrance Office Park in Coral Gables, Fla. (transaction was managed in partnership with GVA Arthur Rubinstein, GVA Worldwide's Frankfurt member).

GVA Williams (New Jersey) represented the buyer, ADP, in the $20.5 million sale of a 210,000 s/f office property in Florham Park, N.J.; represented the sublessor, Prudential, in the lease of 135,441 s/f of office space in Iselin, N.J.; represented the tenant, Lowenstein Sander, in the lease of 82,107 s/f of office space in Roseland, N.J.
