Pioneering Belgian Healthcare Organization Gains Centralized Control Of Distributed, Heterogeneous Infrastructure

(CA) today announced that Gasthuiszustes Van Antwerpen (GVA) regional healthcare group -- one of Belgium's leading private healthcare organizations -- has selected CA's Unicenter TNG to manage its complex IT infrastructure at hospitals and other medical facilities throughout the country.

A pioneer in the consolidation of regional healthcare services, GVA will leverage Unicenter TNG to greatly improve service levels across a complex infrastructure encompassing Windows NT, UNIX, NetWare and OS/2, as well as mainframe and AIX servers running financial and human resources applications. Unicenter TNG will also collect information on all network devices, monitor the status of critical IT resources, and issue alerts when problems occur.
