GUY KERR is hoping his fifth-minute headed goal will earn him a permanent place in the Fifers' starting line-up.

He said: "We've got a few good players out injured and I was happy to get a start - now I want to stay in the team for as long as I can."

The hosts dominated from start to finish and missed several chances to put the game to bed although it didn't matter much as they were rarely troubled at the back.

Clyde boss John Brown, who had to listen to the BullyWee fans call for his resignation, felt his side were lacking in midfield.

He said: "We missed Marvyn Wilson Marvyn Wilson (born 1 December 1973 in Bellshill), is a Scottish football midfielder currently playing for Clyde. Wilson started his career with Hearts, but failed to play a senior game for them.

Wilson joined now defunct Airdrieonians, and stayed at the club for seven years.
