CHRIS GUNTER Chris Gunter (born July 21 1989 in Newport, Wales) is a Wales international football player and Football League Championshipplayer with Cardiff City. He is the youngest Cardiff City player ever to play for the full Welsh team.  hopes to start for Wales Wales, Welsh Cymru, western peninsula and political division (principality) of Great Britain (1991 pop. 2,798,200), 8,016 sq mi (20,761 sq km), west of England; politically united with England since 1536. The capital is Cardiff.  this weekend - to show Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp Henry James "Harry" Redknapp (born March 2 1947) is an English former footballer who has had a long career in football management and is the current manager of Portsmouth in the English Premier League.  he can handle pressure.

Redknapp has been reluctant to use the rookie right-back in Spurs' Premier League relegation battle.

The defender, signed from Cardiff in January 2008 for pounds 2million, was loaned to Championship Nottingham Forest earlier this month.

But Gunter, 19, is set to play for Wales in their crunch Group Four World Cup qualifier at home to Finland on Saturday.

"I haven't played too much football," said Gunter, who has 12 caps. "Whatever club you are at, you want to play - but maybe the manager felt it wasn't the time to play youngsters.

"We haven't been as high as we would have liked in the league, so Harry told me to go out and play some games elsewhere. So I'm looking forward to Wales."
