Byline: Bhavna Mistry Daily News Staff Writer

While searching a desert home for evidence of a ``chop shop'' operation, authorities arrested three brothers after stumbling across a drug lab and a detailed drug making recipe.

Authorities found the lab Tuesday morning while they were assisting California Highway Patrol and Department of Motor Vehicles In the United States of America, Department of Motor Vehicles (or DMV) is a commonly used name of the government agency of a U.S. state which administers the registration of automobiles (e.g., by issuing license plates), and/or the licensing of drivers (e.g.  officials serve a search warrant in the 3100 block of 78th Street West.

Corvettes usually were flush-decked and carried fewer than 28 guns. They were widely employed in escorting convoys and attacking merchant ships during the great naval wars of the late 18th and  and glassware used for cooking was found in a box inside a school bus.''

Although the amount of drugs were minimal - about a gram of crystal methamphetamine, and 2 ounces to 3 ounces of marijuana - sheriff's officials also found $275 cash and 10 weapons, including an M-16 semiautomatic assault rifle, two shotguns, three rifles and five handguns.

Sheriff's deputies were impressed with the detailed 10-page recipe on how to manufacturer methamphetamines: hand-written on yellow graph paper, complete with a list of the needed chemicals, diagrams, and step-by-step instructions listing what reactions to expect and when.

``It's excellent,'' Whinery said. ``It's very detailed, very well written. This was done by someone who knows what they're doing.''

The recipe was kept in a bedroom gun safe, where a majority of the weapons were found. The M-16 was found beside the bed of one of the brothers.

Officials said the 1-1/4-acre property contained numerous cars and car parts, two boats and two boat frames, motorcycles and motorcycle frames, numerous trucks including two tow trucks and truck parts.
