GUNMAN SOUGHT IN ROBBERY.

``This should serve as a warning to other small business owners to be on their guard,'' Deputy Dan Burdick said. ``The best way to deal with a robbery is to prevent it from happening in the first place.''

The robber was described only as an African-American man wearing black pants and a black jacket. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lancaster sheriff's station at (661) 948-8466.
