GUNFIRE NEAR SCHOOL LEADS TO LOCKDOWN.

BURBANK - Streets were closed off and Edison Elementary School Edison Elementary School is the name of many primary schools, with most of them named after Thomas Edison. They include:

Nearby Edison school was locked down, and police helped release students to parents, officials said.

``It certainly had the potential of going very bad, very fast,'' Matthews said.
