GUK's new bun slicer.

GUK's New Bun Slicer

GUK Machines Ltd have launched a slicer designed for the automated slicing of buns or rolls. Either one or two slices can be made as the buns are conveyed through the unit.

A top pressure belt holds the buns in position as they pass through the slicer's blades, and these slices can be varied in height from 1/4 to 3 1/2in. They tell us a precision cut is guaranteed across a 32in. slicing width. By alternating the direction of the blades each time the unit is started up, blade life expectancy can be extended by up to 50 percent. There is full guarding and push- buttons control the changeover between products, etc, but such detail can be discussed with the suppliers of Unit 29, Bergen Way, North Lynn Industrial Estate, King's Lynn, Norfolk, tel: 0553 776006.
