GTSI Wins $63 Million FAA IT Contract.

CHANTILLY, Va. -- GTSI(R) Corp. (NASDAQ:GTSI) a leading Government information technology solutions provider, today announced that the FAA awarded the Company a five-year (one base year and four option years), IDIQ contract (indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity) worth $63 million when all options are exercised. The contract was awarded under the FAA's Strategic Sourcing for the Acquisition of Various Equipment and Supplies (SAVES) Program. The SAVES initiative is part of the FAA's Flight Plan goal to control costs while delivering quality customer service. In addition, the SAVES Program will help the FAA standardize on technology, consolidate buying, and monitor IT spending.

The Office of Financial Controls, with support from FAA's Chief Financial Officer and the FAA Acquisition Executive, led strategic sourcing initiatives for five commodities: Office Supplies, Office Equipment, Information Technology Hardware, Printing and Courier Service. GTSI has won one of two IT Hardware contracts. The GTSI contract is a strategic buying vehicle that consolidates the Agency's procurement of Sun, Cisco and other IT peripherals.

GTSI will provide high end solutions involving Sun UltraSparc and AMD Opteron servers, Sun storage arrays, Cisco routers and switches, and other equipment. Under this contract, the Company will also provide services to stage and integrate as well as asset tag all equipment purchased.

Second, create a standardized method of purchasing IT hardware throughout the entire Agency; and third, create a specific method of reporting and measuring assets.
