GTS Announces Agreement With Intranets.com; First Major 'ASP Enabler' Customer For GTS.

Under this agreement, Intranets.com will have its web-based suite of group communication and collaborative working applications hosted at GTS hosting facilities, initially in London, and utilise GTS Ebone for pan-European IP connectivity.

The agreement demonstrates GTS's commitment to becoming Europe's leading ASP enabler. GTS offers ASPs secure environments for hosting or managed co-location services, high performance IP connectivity with carrier-class reliability and a flexible range of managed services An umbrella term for third-party monitoring and maintaining of computers, networks and software. The actual equipment may be inhouse or at the third-party's facilities, but the "managed" implies an ongoing effort; for example, making sure the equipment is running at a certain quality .
