RICHARDSON, Texas--(BW HealthWire)--Sept. 10, 2002

The Board of Directors of GTESS Corporation today announced that it has appointed Deborah M. Gage as President and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Gage will also hold a seat on the GTESS board. Her appointment will take effect immediately.

In announcing this appointment, GTESS Co-Chairman Guy B. Snowden said, "This is an important step in moving GTESS forward. Deb is a highly qualified and experienced leader in the healthcare technology industry, with equal success in major corporations and entrepreneurial ventures. Ms. Gage is a veteran of business start-ups, most recently as President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of RosettaMed, Inc., a Houston-based start-up providing physician-patient connectivity. Prior to this she was Founder, President and CEO of Solution Point, a business she founded to provide marketing information systems to healthcare technology companies. Ms. Gage has also held high-level management positions at CareStream Corporation (a division of FoxMeyer) and The MEDSTAT MEDSTAT Medical Status  Group. She earned a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Michigan Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan (body, education) University of Michigan - A large cosmopolitan university in the Midwest USA. Over 50000 students are enrolled at the University of Michigan's three campuses. The students come from 50 states and over 100 foreign countries. .
