Metrocall Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:MTOH), a leading provider of paging and two-way wireless messaging and Glenayre Electronics, Inc., a subsidiary of Glenayre Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:GEMS), today announced that GTES, LLC, a global product and services provider, has commenced its operations effective February 11, 2004. GTES, with offices in the United States and Canada, is a joint venture that is 50% owned by Metrocall Ventures, Inc., a Metrocall Holdings subsidiary, and 50% by former management and employees of Glenayre's paging infrastructure operations. GTES will support paging carriers as an authorized licensee of paging infrastructure technology owned by Glenayre Electronics, Inc.
